In the time of the Dinosuars a meotorite impacted the earth. This split the Earth into two separate demensions. One demension was normal Earth and the other was Dino Earth. Abablack battled the evil Evorian on the Dino Earth. Hedfollowed them to Normal Earth but his morpher was damaged.  Three earthlings became Abaranger and tamed the Bakuryuu ( mecha). They battle the evorian. Later  Abablack regained his powers and rejioned the battle.

An insane doctor gained the power of Abakiller and became a second enemy to the Abaranger. He hated the team with a passion. He lead the Evorian for a brief time but was basically a separate entity from them. Abakiller eventually became good and sacrificed himself to help the team defeat the Evorian.
